20th BSVER Annual Scientific Conference (BSVER ASCon XX) is going to held

Bangladesh Society for Veterinary Education and Research (BSVER) is going to hold its 20th BSVER Annual Scientific Conference (BSVER ASCon XX) during 22-23 February 2014 at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Campus, Mymensingh. The two-day long conference will include:

• The Annual Lecture 2013 to be given by Professor Dr. SSE Ranawana, Wayamba University and Former Director General, Livestock Department, Srilanka.
• A Symposium talk on “Future Trends and Critical Needs for Research in Veterinary Science“ to be given by UGC Professor Dr. Muzahed Uddin Ahmed, Department of Medicine, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh.
• Oral paper presentation sessions
• Poster presentation

 

Registration Information
Registration fee: Tk. 500.00 (Ordinary)
Tk. 300.00 (Post.grad. students)

Registration fee includes the cost of folder, proceedings, lunch, tea and conference dinner.
The general deadline for registration is 17 February 2014 while for the paper presenters is 15 February, 2014.

Call for Abstracts
The abstract not exceeding 250 words should be submitted only by e-mail to

Original research papers describing completed or on-going research work and clinical reports of special interest are welcome. Each speaker will be allocated 12 min for presentation and discussion.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 06 February, 2014.

The acceptance of the abstracts will be notified by 12 February, 2014.

 

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election, 2014 will be held on the second day of the Conference. All members of the Society are invited to the AGM and Election.
Please contact the Secretary BSVER for new membership or payment of dues at the following rates:

Membership fee: Tk. 50.00 (New members only).

Membership subscription: Tk. 150.00 per year for ordinary membership or Tk. 2050.00 for life membership.

The payment may be made in cash to the address given below or by A/C Payee cheque in favour of Bangladesh Society for Veterinary Education and Research. The deadline for new membership or payment of dues is 15 February, 2014.
