Animal rights, also known as animal liberation, is the idea that the most basic interests of non-human animals should be afforded the same consideration as the similar interests of human beings. Human beings, animals etc. all form a part of an eco system. If any part is malfunctioning in the cycle, it will have disastrous effect on the rest of the parts.
On the occasion of World Veterinary Day & Save the Frogs day 2013, Veterinary Student Forum, SAU and PRADHIKAR jointly organized a day long event on 27 April 2013. The events take placed in the Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU), which is the birth place of PRADHIKAR.
On the occation Veterinary Student Forum, SAU and PRADHIKAR jointly arranged a rally, Photographic exhibition of endangered mammals & frogs species, Show for the kids, Quiz competition for the kids and a Seminar. The title of the Seminar is “Present status of Amphibians in Bangladesh and their conservation strategy.” Seminar will be co-ordinate by Wildlife researcher Tania khan.
Honorable advisor of PRADHIKAR Prof. DR. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan present on the occasion as chief guest. Munir Ahmed, a famous wildlife researcher present as a special guest in seminar. Other special guests are Dr. Sayem Uddin Ahmed and DR. Mohammad Ali Zinnah. The programme will be presided by famous wildlife specialist and Ornithologist Prof. Dr. A.N.M Aminoor Rahman.
